Gambling is inherently fun. The fun part when it comes to the Paroli System is the fact that you are experiencing the thrill of placing bets in the hopes of winning money. However, additionally, the fun part about the Paroli System that makes it even more exciting than many other progressive bets is the freedom that you get from being able to set your own progression. In the Martingale System, you double your bet every time you lose until you win, no exception. The Paroli System is kind of like the opposite of the Martingale System. Of that you double your bet every time you win, only you do so up until a certain point, and that point is up to you.
As stated in the admittedly longwinded introduction, you double your bet every time you win, and you stop when at a predetermined point. However, there is a bit more to it than that, because if that was all it is, it would simply be the Reverse Martingale.
Let’s say that you make your progression end at four units. You set the amount of a single unit, and then double that unit every time. The unit, in this case, is arbitrary and depends on your bankroll and budget. It can be anywhere from $1 to $1,000, but the main thing to focus on is the unit concept itself. When you lose, you keep your bet the same. When you win, you double the number of units. If you set your progression limit to four, which is our personal recommendation and preference, you would start back at the beginning if you win three times in a row. As it would be betting one unit, two units, and then four units (the limit). However, once you get to that fourth unit, you start back at the beginning after that bet no matter what, even if you lose, as this protects your bankroll and is what makes the Paroli Strategy unique and effective.
To further explain the system, a good example would be a scenario where you win the first bet. Then lose three bets in a row after that before winning with two units, and then winning on the four units. You would win 1 unit, lose six units, win two units, and then win four units. This would mean you profited one unit. As you can see, only in the rare instances where you go on a heavy losing streak will the Paroli System not either limit your losses incredibly well, or end up turning you a profit.
The Paroli System is a fantastic little changeup on the progressive betting systems. It’s conservative enough for the extra smart bettors, has the freedom available to those who like to add their own flare. It will almost always either limit your losses or result in a profit. We recommend you practice it out in the free mode of the game with demo credits to get a feel for it and make sure it’s right for you before putting your own money on the line.
